Havanna Luxury Yacht Charters Refund & Cancellation Policy

Booking & Deposit Requirements

Overnight Charters:

20% deposit required at time of booking
Deposit must be paid within 48 hours of securing dates or charter dates will be forfeited
Balance due in full 60 days prior to departure

Day & Half-Day Charters:

30% deposit required at time of booking
Deposit must be paid within 48 hours of securing dates or charter dates will be forfeited
Balance due in full 60 days prior to departure

Cancellation Policy – Overnight Charters

20% non-refundable deposit paid at time of booking
45–60 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee (50% refunded)
31–44 days before departure: 75% cancellation fee (25% refunded)
0–30 days before departure: 100% cancellation fee (no refund)

Important: If guests elect not to travel due to weather but the charter is still deemed operational by the Master, a 100% cancellation fee applies.

Extreme Weather Cancellations
In the event of extreme weather conditions (e.g., named cyclone), Havanna will cancel the charter for guest safety. In such cases:

An alternative charter date will be offered, OR
A full refund will be provided

No Compensation Policy
No compensation will be offered for:

Late returns due to weather or unforeseen circumstances
Missed activities, water toys, or locations due to weather or operational limits
Early termination due to unacceptable guest behaviour
Charter termination due to safety concerns

Charter Adjustments
Changes to guest numbers are permitted up to 14 days prior to departure, subject to vessel capacity and availability.
Maximum Guest Capacity:

22 guests for day charters (21 if a private chef is hired)
11 guests for overnight charters
